How do I place an order?
 
You can place your order online at Fix-1.com by following the step-by-step on-screen instructions.
To have your telephone equipment repaired or to purchase a telephone or accessory, select the service or product you want to order, click on "Add to cart" and follow the instructions.
You can go back to the cart at any time to change your order.
When you are ready to place your order, click on "Order". You will be asked to enter your shipping and payment information.
You can print out your receipt as well as packing instructions for the telephone equipment you are shipping for repair, if applicable.
 
Can I change my order?
 
Yes. You can change your order at any time until you see the "Your payment has been authorized" message. Click on "View cart" to go to your cart and change the quantity or delete an item. Clicking on "Continue shopping" takes you back to the home page. You can then add additional items to your cart.To finalize your order, click on "Order". If you want to change your order after your payment has been authorized, please call Customer Service at 1 888 808-4356 during business hours.

Can I print out my receipt?
 
Yes. Once your payment has been authorized a confirmation will appear on the screen and you can print it out.
 
Can I cancel my order afterwards?
 
No. Because the payment has already been authorized, you can't change it. If you want to make a change or cancellation at this stage, please contact our Customer Service department at 1 888 808-4356 during business hours. In some cases, minimum charge may be applied.
 
Can I put a purchase on hold?
 
Yes. It will stay in your cart for 48 hours, during which time you can return to the Fix-1 site to change or continue your purchase. You have 48 hours to place the order.
 
How can I track the status of my order?
 
You can track an order after it has been placed by using the "Order status" function on the left side of the Fix-1 home page. Enter the order number you were given and the password you chose. This information appeared on the order confirmation screen. We will then inform you whether your equipment has been received, repaired, cleaned or shipped.
 
What can I do if I've forgotten my password?
 
Please send an e-mail message to info@fix-1.com, including your order number and/or the name under which the order was placed, and we will send you your password by e-mail.

Billing and payment:
 
What credit cards do you accept? In what currency are charges applied?
 
In Canada, you can pay by Visa, MasterCard in Canadian dollars.
In the United States, we accept Visa and MasterCard. Charges are in US dollars.
 
How does payment work?
 
The total minimum charge shown in your cart after you have finished entering the required information and your confirmation number has appeared on the screen will be charged to your credit card.
The outstanding balance will be charged to your credit card when the merchandise is shipped.
 
Can my billing address be different from my shipping address?
 
Yes. You can provide different addresses when you enter your personal information.
 
Security and confidentiality:
The fix-1.com site will not function without cookies.
What are "cookies" and how do I enable them?
 
HTTP cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow your browser to remember specific information, like what phones you've added to your Shopping Cart. A cookie can't be used to get data from your hard drive, get your e-mail address, or retrieve any personal information.

I'm using Internet Explorer, how do I enable cookies?
 
1. In the menu bar at the top of your browser click on Tools, then on Internet Options.
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Set the security level to 'Medium' to allow cookies.
4. Then click on the Privacy tab.
5. Set the privacy level to 'Medium'.
6. Click on OK to exit.
 
I'm using Netscape, Mozilla or FireFox, how do I enable cookies?
 
1. In the menu bar at the top of your browser click Edit, then Preferences.
2. Click Privacy & Security and finally Cookies.
3. Then click on Allow all cookies in the Cookie Acceptance Policy.
4. Click on OK to exit.
 
Is your site protected?
 
Fix-1.com is a fully secure site. To protect your transactions, we use an SSL Web Server Certificate from Thawte (now part of the VeriSign family) and 128-bit encryption of all incoming and outgoing data.

The information you provide is kept strictly confidential. It is solely for our own use; we will not sell or exchange your information with other firms.

Warranty:
 
What does your warranty cover?
 
Repair work is guaranteed for 90 days. Telephone equipment we sell is guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for 12 months after the date of purchase. LEM headsets are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for 2 years. In all cases, a proof of purchase is required.
 
Repairs:
 
What does the price of repair include?
 
Electronic parts, the repair itself and cleaning are included in the price.
It is important to include everything when you ship us your equipment; otherwise, extra charges may apply for battery, adapter, etc.
Replacement of external parts such as the battery, antenna, screen display, plastic cover, etc., if necessary, is not included in the price.
Shipping and handling are not included in the price.
 
What do you mean by a "replacement telephone"?
 
When you select our Fast repair service, you don't have to wait for your telephone to be repaired.
We ask you for detailed information about your telephone (such as colour) so that we can send you an identical telephone to replace your defective equipment.
In this case, your original telephone will not be returned to you; you keep the replacement telephone.
 
How does your Fast service work?
 
With our Fast service, as soon as we receive your telephone we send you a replacement telephone of the same model and colour. Your defective telephone will therefore be replaced by a telephone that has been refurbished by Fix-1.com.

Packing:
 
What should I send you?
 
When you send us your defective telephone, please pack all the parts: headset, base, cords, battery, charger, adapter ? in short, everything that was included when you bought the phone. If you no longer have the original box, use a cardboard box that is slightly larger than the telephone. Protect the telephone with newspaper or bubble wrap.
You can also print out packing instructions when you place your order online.
 
Shipping:
 
Where do I send my telephone?
 
Since we have more than one address, we determined the address with your delivery address indicated. You can print out a shipping label with all the necessary information when you place your order online, or copy the information on to a sheet of paper if you do not have access to a printer.
 
How should I ship my telephone?
 
It's up to you. You can take the box to the post office or use a private carrier. You pay the shipping charges.
 
Can I place a single order for equipment that is to be shipped to different addresses?
 
No. Please place a separate order for each shipping address.
 
Can I provide a shipping address that is different from the billing address?
 
Yes. You can do so when you are entering your personal information.
